Fecc Guidance on Management of ES information in SDS

Fecc has adapted and published the Guidance on Management of ES information in SDS developed by Kemi & Life Science and Brenntag Nordic for its members as well.
The guidance aims to provide recommendations to handle exposure scenarios attached to safety data sheets:

  • Recommendations for a compliance check; how a company can handle the received extended safety data sheets and attached exposure scenarios to check if their work is carried out within the boundaries of the scenarios.
  • Recommendations of how to handle the communication flow of safety data sheets and the attached exposure scenarios further down the supply chain.

Fecc guidance for distributors on communication in the supply chain and exposure scenarios

What happens when relevant information is missing in the supply chain?
What are distributors’ responsibilities in this case?
Concerned about the issue that missing ESs along the supply chain is not an unusual situation, and that in those cases who is responsible to do what is not so clear, Fecc has published a supporting document for distributors on communication along the supply chain and distributors obligations and rights.
