AMI – Polymer Sourcing and Distribution 2024

14.05.2024 - 17.05.2024

AMI - Polymer Sourcing and Distribution 2024
14 - 16 May 2024 | Brussels, Belgium

This AMI forum has been created for companies involved at every stage of the European polymer supply chain. The event provides participants with an opportunity to review recent trends in sourcing options for both commodity and engineering resin grades and the implications for their business. The event also reviews global trends in sourcing, logistics and distribution of polymers and their feedstock and how these impact on the plastics industry. In addition to a busy agenda, there are plenty of opportunities for discussions, including during the Q&A sessions, networking breaks, reception and dinner.

This year, polymer producers, distributors, traders, plastics processors and logistics companies in the heart of the industry will be discussing how uncertainties are impacting on the sourcing and distribution of polymers in Europe. In addition, Polymer Sourcing and Distribution will also review the changing structure of the plastics processing industry, circular economy and sustainability objectives, the impact of new regulations in Europe and the emergence of new transactional technologies such as blockchain.

Dorothée Arns, Fecc Director General, will be a speaker in this event on 15th May on the topic: “The European industry in rough waters - where’s the way out?”, following this outline:

  • the overall context
  • challenges without end - where are the opportunities?
  • outlook scenarios.
