FECC, the voice of the European distribution sector, based in Brussels, is looking for a

Technical and Regulatory Affairs Manager (m/f)

In this position you will report to the Director General and be responsible for

  • Leading and coordinating several task forces composed of member company representatives of all parts of Europe
  • Monitoring developments in EU legislation regarding cosmetics, pharma, food and feed with the European Institutions and external stakeholders.
  • Advising and updating FECC members on regulatory and legislative implementation options and the development of standards for Good Trade and Distribution practices.
  • Proactively and sustainably managing all projects related to your area of responsibility including action plans, project budgets and strategic measures to achieve the targets
  • Acting as a spokesperson for the sector, while establishing, maintaining and expanding FECC´s networks with stakeholders and decision-makers at national, European and international level. 

Skills and professional qualifications required:

  • University education in science (biochemistry, biology, chemistry or a related scientific discipline) and ideally first professional experiences acquired afterwards o Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Sound experience in project management, planning, budgeting and on-time delivery skills
  • Empathy as well as ability and eagerness to work in a dynamic, diverse and multicultural team, while at the same time being able to work autonomously on the assigned tasks in a result-oriented way
  • You should be fluent in English; one or more European languages are a plus
  • Full knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
