Fecc at the Turkchem Eurasia exhibition – Impressions of a successful partnership

For the first time ever, Fecc partnered up with Artkim, the organizers of the prestigious industry trade show and exhibition Turkchem Eurasia, held in Istanbul from 27 to 29 November 2024.

With more than 12,000 visitors from all parts of the chemical value chain over the 3 days, the event was extremely well attended and offered ample opportunity to learn more about the important Turkish chemical market as a critical gateway between Europe and Asia, meet with Fecc's Turkish members and make new contacts.

It was a special honour for Fecc to officially open the trade show by cutting the red tape during the inauguration ceremony alongside major representatives of the Turkish Government and senior Industry Leaders. Additionally, Fecc members Kempro, Univar Solutions and Maersk shared their insights and comprehensive value chain know-how about chemical value chains today and tomorrow in the keynote panel, following a setting-the-scene speech by our Fecc Director General Dorothee Arns. Together, they explored trends, challenges and opportunities for Turkey and beyond against the background of their respective positions in the supply chain: Kempro as a Turkey-headquartered chemical producer with adjacent distribution activities, Univar as a multinational distribution company and Maersk as a global logistics services provider.
