Closing the Loop with Recycling Forum 2024

Closing the Loop with Recycling Forum will bring together, during 2 days, industry experts and decision-makers from the whole value chain to share, learn and collaborate on strategic approaches. Topics will focus on:
- the PPWR and recycled content target,
- education and infrastructure,
- recyclate prices on the market,
- mechanical and chemical recycling
- how will pyrolysis oil help make green fuels and is that the proper way to go?
Additionally, the conference will discuss the combination of both types of recycling, how the industry needs to come together in order to move forward in designing the future of recyclability and how to move from a linear to a circular economy.
Fecc participation is as follows:
- Marianne Lyngsaae, Chair of Fecc’s Circular Economy Committee and Quality System Manager, REACH & Biocide Advisor at Brenntag Nordic, will present the topic “The Danish GEAR project: an economical positive business model to save resources and reduce CO2 footprint” on Day 2 – Session V: “Mechanical vs Chemical Recycling: Meeting Halfway or Going in Separate Directions?”.
- Dorothee Arns, Fecc Director General, will be a panellist at the Panel Discussion: “What is the future holding and what should we expect?” on Day 2 – Session VI: “Design for Recycling – Diving Deeper”.
