Precursors
The Precursors Committee deals with topics such as Explosives Precursors, Drug Precursors, the EU CBRN-E (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive) Action Plan, Chemical Security, the EU Dual-Use Items Legislation and Prior Informed Consent Procedure (PIC).
This expert group shares and discusses information on the latest European and global developments in the above-mentioned fields and formulates positions of the chemical distribution sector towards the Authorities, e. g. the European Commission (DG HOME), as regards the EU Regulation and Guidelines on Explosives Precursors. It strives for regulatory compliance in these areas.
