About the speaker
Carmen Esteban is a consultant specializing in the technical-legislative areas as well as the legal part of the cosmetic product sector. Her expertise includes regulatory and technical aspects of perfume and cosmetic products, support in the necessary actions for a correct placing on the market of cosmetic products (CPNP notification, labelling, Product Information File, Declaration of responsible for manufacturing and import activities, cosmetovigilance, etc.) and adequacy assessment of cosmetic products to comply with national and European regulations.
She was the project leader for the guideline of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 16128 on definitions and criteria for natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and products' and was also the technical director of the Spanish National Association of Perfume and Cosmetics from 1999 to 2018.
