ECHA to launch SCIP database in late October

On the last week of October, the SCIP database will open for companies to notify ECHA about the hazardous chemicals in their articles – months in advance of the entry into application date. The obligation to submit data to the Agency through SCIP applies from 5 January 2021, as outlined in the Waste Framework Directive.
