Energy infrastructure in the EU – Interactive map

The EU supports diverse and often cross-border energy infrastructure projects that produce, store, and distribute energy efficiently.

Here you will find an interactive map providing a snapshot of EU energy infrastructure projects while also showing the main electricity sources per country as well as an overview of the energy infrastructure in the EU. It was published mid-October 2022 and was updated in early 2023, by adding new projects (updates are not recurrent but happen when project development so requires).

The projects featured on this map illustrate some of the EU’s policy achievements on energy infrastructure. This is not an exhaustive list and the inclusion of these projects does not signify that they have been prioritised over the many others that EU energy policy facilitates and supports, which are all equally relevant.
