Lars Wallstein, IMCD, re-elected as Fecc President

Hamburg, 10 September 2025 – In today´s General Assembly the members of the European Association of Chemical Distributors (Fecc) have re-elected Lars Wallstein (IMCD), as President again for the office term 2025-2027.

Fecc’s President Lars Wallstein commented: “I am grateful for the trust and look forward to serving another term. Especially in these challenging times, it is crucial to remain optimistic. Our industry has proven its agility and adaptability and is essential to connect the dots along increasingly complex and dynamic value chains. Close partnership between all stakeholders is crucial for this. As a European federation, it is important for us to interact with the entire chemical value chain and see how we can solve the ongoing issues by cooperating, with the spirit of innovation and sustainability.”

Fecc´s core leadership team is completed by Mikko Pasanen (TKL/Nordic Countries´ National Associations) as Vice-President-Elect and the new Treasurer Viktor Janouskovec from the Czech National Distribution Association, SCHOD.

About Lars Wallstein

Lars Wallstein, Managing Director of IMCD Germany in Cologne, has over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. He started his career in 2001 at PolymerLatex, a former 50:50 joint venture of Bayer and Degussa. In 2011, he joined Synthomer, where he held various management positions, as Managing Director in Germany and Head of several global business units. Wallstein has been a member of the Fecc Board since 2021 and became Vice President in the same year.
